Dear Dr. Kalus,Read More Testimonials
I just wanted to thank you so much for the amazing surgery you performed on my eyelids. I could not be more pleased. The scars are truly invisible, and I cannot believe how many compliments I have been getting.

Droopy, puffy eyes and eyelids give the appearance of fatigue and advanced age. To help combat this age accelerator, we offer blepharoplasty to our South Carolina patients. Blepharoplasty, commonly referred to as eyelid surgery, improves the appearance of aging eyes and drooping lids. Blepharoplasty also has functional benefits; Dr. Kalus can perform eyelid surgery through our Charleston surgical center to improve fields of vision obstructed by sagging eyelids.
At the start of the blepharoplasty procedure, an incision is made along the natural eyelid crease. Dr. Ram Kalus then removes fat and any excess skin or muscle from the eyelid. Eyelid surgery usually takes less than three hours at a Charleston surgical center and is an outpatient procedure. The results are long-lasting, but are still susceptible to the natural effects of aging.
Some patients who are interested in reducing the appearance of fine wrinkles and lines around the eyes may be better suited for BOTOX® injections rather than eyelid surgery. To find out if you are a candidate for blepharoplasty, we invite you to contact our South Carolina plastic surgery center and schedule a consultation with Dr. Kalus.
A descending forehead can create a worried and even angry look. With a few strategically placed incisions, the brow may be lifted to provide a more desirable appearance. To achieve even more dramatic results, this minimally invasive surgery is often performed in conjunction with blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). If you live in South Carolina, contact Plastic Surgery of the Carolinas to schedule a consultation.
